What the retainer doesn't cover — and how that works

Anything beyond the day-to-day falls outside the monthly retainer — and we handle it two ways, both in the open. Big, planned work — office moves, major migrations, new construction buildouts, large hardware refreshes — gets a written, fixed quote you approve before we lift a finger. Smaller one-off requests are billed at your contracted client rate, set well below what we charge a company off the street. Either way, you see the number first. You will never open an invoice and be surprised.

A good rule of thumb: if it's keeping your existing business running, it's in the retainer. If it's building something new — a second office, a server migration, a construction project — it's a fixed quote up front. Smaller extras outside the retainer are billed at your reduced client rate, well below our standard pricing. We flag it before any work starts, never after.
